ARETE

               Arete means "to pursue excellence with integrity" and it is is wide spread in this computer science class. Arete originates from the Greek word for "all around excellence." This was one of the center of Greek philosophy and central idea. Anther thing that relates to Arete is that during the Italian renaissance they used Arete.

Some Arete people that i know of are Kobe Bryant. He lead his team to seven NBA finals and won five during his twenty year career and was a four time MVP All Star. He practiced a lot to get were he was a role model for many rising NBA players. In the end Kobe Bryant is a very Arete person a is a legend.

Summer Stories

Joseph Garcia: Joseph Garcia said that he spent his summer in the marching band and marched over six miles with the All City Band. He said that he spent most of it practicing in this band and also I know that he had his birthday party over the summer.

Isaiah Banuelos: Isaiah said that for the start of his summer break he went to summer school because he fail a class. later he got dropped because he said that the class was not required. later he was going out with his friends and ate pizza with them and other things as well.

Karen Arroyo: He said that she spent all of he summer practicing for the Marquez color guard.

Angie Flores: She said that for her summer she went to the Yosemite National park and saw bears.

Summer Break

               My summer days were very interesting for the first week I went out to celebrate with some of my friends to celebrate my birthday. We went to a buffet and ate as much as we could while having a lot of fun and laughing. A few days after that I went out to visit my grandmother over at her house we talked a lot about school and life. It was a good day and i enjoyed being able to spend time with her. I also went to San Diego with my uncle and had a lot of fun at a hotel. When we came back we threw a party at the pool with my uncles and cousins. After this there was not much i took a rest and did not do much other than some reunions with friends. An example of this is when I went over to celebrate the birthday of one of my close friends. We did a lot of walking and talking it was very fun. After all of this not much happened I still plan to go to the Anniversary party for my grandparents. I already have my dress shirt and tie
